I've always been drawn to the beauty and peacefulness of nature, especially when surrounded by the warmth of a cozy fire. So, when I heard about the Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0, I was excited to try it out and see if it lived up to its reputation as a smokeless fire pit. As someone who loves both the outdoors and the cold, I was eager to put this fire pit to the test and see if it could deliver an exceptional fireside experience. Side note: I am from Florida - so when I say I love the cold, I mean I love our version of cold.
First Impressions
The Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0 arrived on time and in branded packaging. Right when you open the box there is a "Before You Burn" guide on one of the box flaps walking you through how to use the fire pit to ensure optimal performance. I thought this was a nice touch. It also came with a decent looking carry case, making it easy to transport. Weighing just over 23 pounds, it was lightweight and easy to move from one location to another. The fire pit's design is sleek and modern, and it comes with a removable base plate and ash pan as well.
Ease of Use
First thing that stood out to me was just how easy the firepit was to setup. That's because there really was no setup. My first use was during a get together I had at my house - and being the procrastinator that I am - waited until the last second to get the firepit going. Luckily for me - it only takes a few seconds to setup. Just popped the fire pit body on top of the base, inserted the baseplate and ash pan, flipped the flame ring, threw in my fire starters and split logs and I was good to go!
No Smoke, No Problem
One of the standout features of the Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0 is its patented 360° Airflow system, which superheats the air to burn off smoke before it reaches you. This system worked incredibly well, and I can confidently say that this fire pit is one of the cleanest burning fire pits I have ever used. I personally do like a little smoke when I'm out camping as I feel it adds to the "vibe", but for my little backyard get together the lack of smoke was perfect. My guests and I were able to sit around the fire without getting smoke in our eyes or on our clothes.
Durability
The Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0 is made of high-quality stainless steel, making it durable and long-lasting. You can tell when handling this thing that it is built to last. I am very impressed with the quality of this thing. Plus it just looks amazing.
Conclusion
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0. The fire pit performed incredibly well during my camping trip and backyard get-together. The lack of smoke was a huge plus, and the 360° Airflow system made sure that I was able to enjoy the warmth of the fire without sacrificing comfort. If you're looking for a fire pit that is not only stylish but also performs exceptionally well, I highly recommend the Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0.
